Learn about the newest Disney-themed aircraft taking to the skies - Mickey's Toontown Express, a specially-themed Alaska Airlines plane flying to Disneyland Resort.
Disney theme parks are always filled with magic, but now you can add flying to that list with the new Mickey's Toontown Express airplane! This specially-themed Alaska Airlines aircraft is the perfect way to kick off your Disney vacation.
Partnering with airlines is not new for Disney, but it never gets old. This new plane is just one of many in the past, such as the Toy Story-themed aircraft reminiscent of Pixar Pier. And let's not forget Southwest Airlines adding a touch of magic to their fleet for Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary.
But now, we have a whole new plane taking to the skies - Mickey's Toontown Express. This Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-800 is the eighth collaboration between the airline and Disneyland Resort, but this one is extra special as it features the one and only Mickey Mouse!
Of course, Mickey isn't the only character decorating this plane. Keep an eye out for Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Daisy Duck, and Donald Duck, with Chip making an appearance on the tail.
The inaugural flight for Mickey's Toontown Express took place on November 1, 2023, with passengers being treated to a special meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie, as well as onboard treats. And this magical plane will be flying for years to come, with routes across the Alaska Airlines network.
